As a legal advisor to the Italian Competition Authority, Rosalba Striani most recently led the effort to define economic policy priorities for the European Union during Italy’s term presiding over the Council of the European Union. She utilized her fellowship to learn about U.S. antitrust law enforcement with the goal of developing a forward-looking framework for Italy’s competition rules. Striani also explored American legal mechanisms and policy debates regarding the need to balance privacy and security concerns with use of data.
