Sandra Glasgow is the Founder and Managing Director of BizTactics™ Limited, a consulting company that nurtures growth-aspiring firms and promotes- best-in-class corporate governance. She is a Founding Member of Jamaica’s first Angel Investor Network, FirstAngelsJA and a Mentor to Caribbean business enablers, incubators, start-up and growing firms. She was Chief Executive Officer of The Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) for 5 ½ years. During her 20-year tenure at the University of Technology, Jamaica and the College of Arts, Science & Technology, she represented the University in many fora, including a 10 year-stint as Vice a Director and Vice President of the World Association for Cooperative Education (WACE). Between 2004 & 2007 as Senior Vice President for Corporate Services she led a division created to improve service quality to the University’s internal and external customers. She initiated the Entrepreneurial Centre, a pioneer in entrepreneurship education and later founded the Technology Innovation Centre, a leading edge business incubator providing services to start-up technology firms, and training, consulting and business services to entrepreneurial firms outside the university. In 2005, she founded the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Jamaica project and was Team Leader from 2005 to 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Zoology and Applied Botany and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, specialising in the Management of Technology, both from the University of the West Indies, (UWI) Mona campus. Glasgow was Jamaica’s Eisenhower Fellow in 2000 and is a member of the Eisenhower Fellowship’s Global Network Council.
