EF Fellows Farzana Yaqoob (Pakistan '16) and Miriam Meckel (Germany '08) will be speaking at the 2017 Women's Leadership Forum conference in Boston, each telling "HerStory." The Women’s Leadership Forum is dedicated to recognizing and honoring inspirational individuals for their leadership qualities and accomplishments. All honorees have made a significant contribution to their field and share their unique personal stories with attendees. Paula Bennett has recently been appointed deputy prime minister for New Zealand, after serving as Minister for Climate Change Issues, Social Housing, & State Services. The new prime minister, Bill English, welcomed Bennett as deputy describing her as an "outstanding politician whose work on welfare reform is world leading".
