After coming back from his Eisenhower Fellowships, Conrado Etchebarne was appointed by the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange to draft a legislation on securities for Argentina, adopted as a the law of public offering of securities, which created the Securities and Exchange Commission that regulates the public offering of securities and the stock exchanges in Argentina. Later on he served as Minister of Justice during a four-year term at age of 36 and during his term, he promoted a far reaching reform of the most important Argentine codes such as Civil Code, Commercial Code, Stock exchanges and public offering of securities, Aeronautical Code, Bankruptcy Code, Penal Code, Procedural Code which was done with the participation of the most outstanding Argentine jurists and are still in force after forty years. Etchebarne is a Professor of Corporations and Securities at the Buenos Aires University, School of Economics. He has been a securities expert for over 35 years and has a significant experience in litigation against the federal government and its related agencies. Etchebarne has been appointed as member of the American Law Institute and is author of several publications on securities and corporate law. He has also been a member of a very prestigious Argentine Bank and several business corporations. He is Senior Partner of the law firm Cabanellas, Etchebarne, Kelly & Dell´Oro Maini.
