Javier Arroyo is an entrepreneur with a passion for building a stronger and more positive future for children through education, specifically math. He co-founded Smartick, an adaptive online (PC or tablet) math learning program for children ages 4 to 14. The program is available in Spanish and English and uses artificial intelligence technology to create personalized content based on a student’s learning style. It has been recognized by the MIT G-Lab Program as one of the 15 High Potential initiatives worldwide. Arroyo also writes about education in the leading newspapers in Spain, El Mundo and El Confidencial. On fellowship, Arroyo plans to identify potential partnerships and refine his strategy to enter the U.S. market.
