A passionate and influential advocate for democracy and gender equality in Mongolia, Oyungerel Tsedevdamba is a former Member of Parliament of Mongolia who served in her national parliament during 2012-2016. She has served as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and an adviser on human rights and public participation to the Mongolian President, Prime Minister, and members of parliament. She is an influential and bestselling author of fiction and non-fiction books. She runs the Local Solutions Foundation, a small NGO which aims to educate youth in leadership skills to solve local problems with global vision.
