As vice president and managing director of Rabo AgriFinance, a subsidiary of Rabobank, a global financial institution founded in the Netherlands over a century ago by and for farmers, Krishna Walker, leads the company's closing group for the eastern United States. A team of 10 people working under her makes and services multi-million-dollar agricultural loans. In addition, she is general counsel for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, an international community service organization of 125,000 volunteers with chapters across the U.S., the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. On fellowship she wants to study the challenges that rural Chinese farmers and the agricultural supply chain face in meeting the goal of increasing agricultural output by 2050.
