Nancy Sibo is currently a student at the University of Rwanda, receiving her masters of science degree in animal production. Passionate about social entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment, Sibo founded the Girls Effect Initiative that aims at empowering young girls in Rwanda through education and promoting entrepreneurial skills for future employment.
“I am passionate about youth leadership and social entrepreneurship in finding lasting solutions to problems in communities, especially those affecting young girls and women in my country, Rwanda. It is in this regard that I founded the GIRLS EFFECT INITIATIVE LTD that aims at empowering young girls in Rwanda through education and socio-entrepreneurship, and applying and promoting the GIRL EFFECT approach for the sustainable development of Rwanda.”
