Gonzalo Aguilar is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Check, an ed-tech startup which aims to replace traditional and costly textbooks in Peruvian schools. Upon learning that 53% of Peruvian parents take out loans to buy textbooks each year, Aguilar launched Check in March 2019. This adaptive online platform is tailored to each school’s curriculum and allows students to more effectively reach their learning objectives.
