The USA Program sends 10-12 exceptional mid-career American leaders to one or two countries for a highly customized program of meetings with leaders and experts in their respective fields. These ascendant American leaders from all fields travel for four- or five-week programs with both in-person and virtual meetings. Fellows will develop a project, foster professional relationships and launch concrete collaborations with their international peers, their fellow Fellows and other members of the EF network.

In addition, EF regularly selects an American farmer or rancher as an Agriculture Fellow as part of the USA program.

After the program concludes, USA Fellows gain lifetime membership in a distinguished network of over 1900 committed and exceptional leaders across the globe. 

Eisenhower Fellowships’ eight USA regional hubs—Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, San Francisco and St. Louis—connect Fellows in their home cities by fostering ongoing networking, recruiting new Fellows and welcoming visiting Global Fellows with local expertise and hospitality. Led by steering committees of prominent leaders in their regions, these hubs bring together a critical mass of Fellows who collaborate to further leverage their impact, create solutions for their communities and anchor the fellowship experience across the country.
